Mines
By Spribe
A Minesweeper-style grid game: reveal gems to grow your multiplier and cash out before you hit a mine.
Mines in the lobby
This guide describes Mines as published by Spribe. The title was not among the tiles shown in the slotkaki.org lobby when this catalogue was last checked, so the card carries a "Demo" label. Figures in the panel come from the studio; where the studio does not publish an RTP or jackpot value, none is stated here.
How Mines plays
Mines is a 5×5 grid game. Before the round starts you choose how many mines are hidden on the board, from one to twenty-four. Then you click tiles one at a time. Each safe tile reveals a gem and raises the multiplier on your stake; clicking a mine ends the round and loses the stake. You can cash out at any point after the first safe tile.
The mine count is the whole strategy. With few mines, each tile is almost certainly safe but adds only a small amount to the multiplier. With many mines, every click is a real risk but the multiplier climbs steeply. Because the odds are displayed before each click, Mines is one of the clearest illustrations of risk and reward in the e-games category.
Rounds are provably fair, so the mine positions are fixed before you start and can be verified afterwards. As with Aviator, decide your cash-out point before the round begins rather than in the moment.
